Responsibility

  • providing care and support by regularly monitoring service users' condition by regularly recording health markers
  • this includes temperature, pulse respiration and weight, among others
  • promoting independence
  • personal care support includes but is not limited to assisting clients in dressing, undressing, washing, using the toilet and bathing
  • measures and distributes medication at the correct time according to the service provider's needs
  • undertakes light domestic duties such as meal preparation
  • home support tasks such as light cleaning, letter writing and bill paying where required
  • support for specific health conditions such as dementia/Alzheimers, stroke, learning disability/autism and mental health

Requirements

  • right to Work in the UK is required
  • we will cover this cost
  • we are looking for individuals who are compassionate, driven, good with communication and showing care
  • previous experience in the Health and Social Care Sector or a demonstrated willingness to learn and gain the skills by means of enrolling on training or previous health care training completed
