  • knowledge of dementia care and complex care needs is advantageous
  • strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
  • ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding
  • physical capability to perform moving and handling tasks when required
  • assist with mobility tasks and knowledge around current equpitment
  • valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation duties
  • certification in relevant training is an asset but not mandatory

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Responsibility

  • document care provided and report any changes in client condition to your line manager and appropriate family member
  • administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions
