Requirements
- at least 4 years prior experience working in a data engineering role
- strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data services including Data Factory, Data Lake & SQL Server
- strong knowledge of data structures, governance & providing data for insights & analysis
- strong knowledge of API methodologies such as REST
- experience & knowledge of the UK construction industry
- proven experience of leading end to end data engineering projects from design & development all the way through to deployment
- experience developing reports using Power BI
- proven experience conveying complex development concepts to a wide range of stakeholders with varying skills & experience
Responsibility
- you’ll provide technical expertise and analytical skills to transform data ready for consumption by our clients
- this work will enable the development of Business or Project Intelligence solutions, developed by yourself or the clients in-house team
- in this role, you will help our clients to improve business decision making by standardising their access to data across the enterprise from existing systems and applications
- in addition to this you will help to grow and develop the Data Engineering capability within our company, leading to further opportunities within the business
