Requirements
- in depth knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations in relation to gyms and leisure operations
- knowledge of commercial environment, including detailed knowledge of pricing and financial mechanisms, risk management techniques and contingency planning
- first Aid Qualification HSE First aid at work certificate
- institute of Sports Recreation Management Supervisory Management Certificate or equivalent supervisory management certificate eg N.E.B.S.M. or equivalent relevant experience
- level 2 and Level 3 Group Fitness qualifications in a variety of disciplines
- physically able to perform all aspects of the post which includes manual handling of some heavy equipment
- substantial experience of working in a leisure environment and managing employees and facilities, including a proven track record in achieving sales membership targets
- ability to undertake all associated administration, systems, customer care and satisfaction as required
