- review and process Motor insurance claims

- pro-actively make outbound calls to insurers to discuss cases and agree settlement terms
- ensure that all claims are processed in a timely manner

- provide customer service to claimants and our brokers
- to hit both individual and team weekly and monthly targets for cash collection to ensure consistent cash flow into the business
- resolve any discrepancies in the claims process
- apply a structured approach to managing your own caseload of cases
- the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, reviewing and processing new claims in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all documentation is complete and compliant with company policies
- maintain accurate records of all claims processed

- the New Claims Handler will also be responsible for providing customer service to clients, resolving any disputes, and ensuring that all claims are processed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

- assess accident circumstances to establish liability, which may involve engaging with other key parties and obtaining detailed information
- here at Active Claims Solutions, we provide excellent service, replacement vehicles and repair management services to victims of non-fault road traffic accidents
- comprehensively review and appraise cases prior to escalating to your line manager
- liaise with other parties such as solicitors, insurers and repairers regarding ongoing cases
- to proactively identify cases where we cannot reach an amicable agreement with third party insurers and refer to the litigation team to issue legal proceedings
- to effectively keep clients up-to-date with the recovery process to ensure their cooperation should we need it to issue legal proceedings against the third party insurer
- as a Live Claims Handler, you will be dealing with our referring clients, and victims of road traffic accidents, so you will need excellent communication skills and telephone manner, as well as the ability to build a rapport with people over the phone
Requirements
- previous experience as a claims handler or recoveries agent, within the motor industry
- hybrid Working - we also offer two days a week working from home upon completion of your training
- immediate Start Required

- experience in dealing with RTA claims
- A good level of knowledge of vehicles
- excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- great communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to negotiate confidently
- the ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively to deadlines
- hours of work - Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 18:00pm across two shift patterns
- A can do attitude and flexibility to assist other areas of the business as required
- the ability to make fast, informed decisions
