Responsibility

  • respond to tutors’ enquiries, whilst supporting the wider team to do the same
  • work with the Communications Manager and the Engagement Team to deliver engaging and impactful core and additional communications to volunteer tutors
  • writing relevant and engaging content to recruit tutors on to programmes, for Communications Team flagship campaigns as well as marketing, policy and fundraising campaigns with the aim of growing the audience, engaging stakeholders and motivating volunteer tutors to engage actively in our mission
  • working with the Communications Manager, Media and PR manager, and the Digital Marketing and Communications Officer, adapt email marketing campaign content for use across the organisations social media platforms namely Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok, Facebookand Youtube
  • manage our volunteer database to a high standard, determining the engagement levels and recent communication of the volunteers on our mailing lists to reassign their volunteering status where necessary
  • any other duties deemed reasonable by the Chief Executive Officer
  • working with the wider team, support with the re-engagement and recruitment of volunteer tutors including through management of our newly established fellowship newsletter which aims to re-engage tutors who have recently graduated with a view to also convert their employers into corporate partners
  • through the activities above, cultivate positive relationships with tutors, helping to increase engagement and retention, and support others in the wider Action Tutoring team to do the same
