  • manage our volunteer database to a high standard, determining the engagement levels and recent communication of the volunteers on our mailing lists to reassign their volunteering status where necessary
  • any other duties deemed reasonable by the Chief Executive Officer
  • working with the wider team, support with the re-engagement and recruitment of volunteer tutors including through management of our newly established fellowship newsletter which aims to re-engage tutors who have recently graduated with a view to also convert their employers into corporate partners
  • through the activities above, cultivate positive relationships with tutors, helping to increase engagement and retention, and support others in the wider Action Tutoring team to do the same

Responsibility

  • oversee the delivery of all Action Tutoring programmes and corresponding work in the the Midlands
  • line manage up to seven Programme Coordinators, meeting weekly with them and overseeing the delivery of their programmes, and supporting them to ensure consistently high quality programme delivery
  • develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Action Tutoring’s partner schools in the Midlands, including members of the Senior Leadership Team
  • report and work closely with SMT and the Board, including regular reporting to the Board, presentations to SMT and attendance of biannual management meetings to add input to future development of programme delivery
  • any other responsibilities reasonably deemed necessary by the Chief Executive Officer
  • lead on reviewing and improving programme delivery across the Midlands. Using data to reliably assess programme performance and engaging with quality assurance processes to drive impact

Requirements
