measure, cut, bend, punch and assemble busbars for low and medium voltage switchgear and related assemblies
interpret engineering/technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to fabricate high-quality busbar systems to specification
operate fabrication machinery and hand tools, ensuring safe and efficient use at all times
form busbars to precise dimensions and tolerances for bespoke electrical distribution equipment
install insulation, fit fixings and supports, and ensure all assemblies meet electrical and mechanical safety requirements
collaborate with design engineers, panel builders, and quality teams to deliver integrated solutions on time and to specification
carry out checks for quality, compliance, and assist in inspection, testing and commissioning activities when required
fabrication: Cut, bend, and shape busbars according to specifications using various tools and machinery
Requirements
