Responsibility

  • your day will be spent as part of an estimating/contracts engineering team, liaising with the shop floor, projects team and customers
  • you will be required to interpret line diagrams and written specifications to produce a quotation to send to our customers
  • full training will be provided for the specifics, but a working knowledge of LV electrical systems is essential for the role
  • assume responsibility for the project and tenders in terms of financial performance, deadline compliance and technical performance of the work
  • responsible for the management of projects under their authority, covering all activities
  • organises bid and contract reviews whilst monitoring changes in the contract performance
  • autoCAD LT is utilised for 2d drawings with technical support on hand to take assist with more complex requirements and drawings where applicable
  • verifies & validates sales orders before acknowledging receipts

Requirements

  • electrical Knowledge and understanding
