Responsibility
- maintaining and repairing ventilation and air-conditioning systems and equipment
- undertaking planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repair works across various contracts in accordance with relevant legislation
- liaising with internal Acorn helpdesk and administration teams to create a collaborative and successful support function
- attend to call outs during normal working hours and in addition will be part of the out-of-hours emergency call out rota
- troubleshoot issues with a current system as they are identified
- conduct performance tests with specialised tools and adjust system settings
- the individual will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently and to work supportively within a team
- regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors in order to maintain and develop excellent relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business
Requirements
- F-Gas 2079 Category 1
- NVQ or equivalent in Air Conditioning
- good communication and time management skills
- valid Driving Licence
- excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- self-motivated
- the ability to work on your own or as part of a team and make calculated assessments of breakdowns
