Responsibility
- loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
- providing excellent customer service, answering questions and following time schedules
- deliver packing materials to customers
- completing fully and returning to the office job record sheets
- reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
- assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- able to dismantle and re-assemble furniture i.e beds, wardrobes, tables
Requirements
- full UK driver's licence
- lawfully drive vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonne
- previous experience preferable but not essential, especially regarding dismantling and reassembling furniture
- attention to detail
