Responsibility
assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment
operate basic hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks
follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members on projects
assist skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed, providing support in various tasks
adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site
Requirements
previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential
ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and taking on responsibilities
familiarity with health and safety practices on construction sites is preferred
