Responsibility
- assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment
- operate basic hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks
- follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members on projects
- assist skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed, providing support in various tasks
- adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site
Requirements
- previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and taking on responsibilities
- familiarity with health and safety practices on construction sites is preferred
