Requirements

  • knowledge of MRP systems
  • PC Literate
  • experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • experience of similar Purchasing / Supply Chain Role
  • CIPS Level 3
  • supply chain: 3 years

Responsibility

  • obtaining quotes for materials requested by the Engineering department In line with customer RFQ
  • updating and maintaining internal databases and ERP system with records of orders, deliveries, invoices, and contracts. Be integral in the development and further integration of ERP systems
  • 15. Maintain Approved Supplier List in line with procedure
  • 16. Support creation of standard purchasing procedures and work flows
