Responsibility
- this is an office based role with site visits nationwide as required and inline with business requirements
- the position is that of Small Works Estimator dealing with commercial aspects across our business, with the support from our commercial team
- the duties below are an indication of the basic functions that are required / carried out on a day to day basis
Requirements
- formulate robust enquiries for subcontract and material procurement
- experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential, this is can be developmental role within our team
- prepare and produce basic take off’s for work packages
- self-motivated and work co-operatively & effectively as part of a team
- formulate estimates using a standard schedule of rates and preparation of relevant tender submission documents
- confidentiality is essential
- assist with procurement of sub-contractors and materials to achieve best value using a set of suppliers from our supply base
- effective time management and prioritisation
