Working hours

Responsibility
- assist with timely margin & activity reporting to the business
- assist with timely and insightful overhead reporting to business
- partner with the trading team to provide commercial and system support to ensure all fixtures are correctly accounted for on NetSuite
- assist with month end, audit and tax work as required and any local regulatory reporting requirements
- complete quarterly Balance Sheet reviews and monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations as required
- support in the calculation of broker commissions and ensure correctly accounted for. Liaise with HR to ensure correct and timely payment
- entry and reconciliation of all bank accounts across UK and overseas entities
- posting and overall control/management of petty cash, employee expenses, company credit cards and cash advances
Requirements
- netSuite experience desirable, but not essential
- continuous improvement mindset, proactively challenging existing processes and identifying efficiencies
- demonstrable accounting and finance experience advantageous, but not essential
- excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Able to manage workload and various priorities, seeking support when required
- excellent time management skills to ensure rigorous deadlines are met
- ability to challenge the trading or finance teams and present credible, well-considered alternatives
- graduate with a numerical degree, or part qualified CIMA \ ACCA \ ACA \ AAT. Once probation is completed, would support through a training contract if desired
- able to prioritise work, while having a flexible approach within a team environment
