Absolute Collagen (AC) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager who really wants to make their mark in a fast growing business. We need someone to deliver a Quality Assurance agenda that maintains products to the highest safety and quality standards for AC business & customers assurance. As a member of the Quality team here at AC you will get a unique experience from a brand that has both food and cosmetics products, be able to broaden experience supporting all facets of the operation to adopt quality assurance and working externally with multiple suppliers.You will be an integral part of the Quality team, a new department at AC which continues to grow and develop that you will help to shape and leave your legacy upon.Main ResponsibilitiesCreate, implement, and maintain QMS framework encompassing policies, procedures, and training to ensure high standards within AC supply chain E2E are deliveredQMS Key elements maintain business protocols: Traceability & Recall, BCP, IMT, Incident management, Document Control, HACCP, Management review, GDP and product inspection standards in AC operated sitesManage product testing schedule & outputs to ensure product quality within budgeted spendProduct, ingredient & packaging specification maintenanceLead, maintain and deliver accreditation to external audit standards as requiredDelivery of Quality training plan to required Team AC to maintain QMS standardsMaintain relationships with local governing bodies EHO/ TSOWorking collaboratively with AC departments to maintain QMSSupport delivery of business external certification- Product, packaging & advertising Legal ComplianceLead the assessment of materials for legal compliance to relevant UK, EU & International food, and cosmetics legislationMaintenance of claim justif
Responsibility: product, ingredient & packaging specification maintenance, maintenance of claim justification & substantiation records, develop, implement, and maintain Supplier Assurance protocols and records to ensure all suppliers are assessed and meeting the needs and standards of expectation to maintain high quality output for AC supply chain E2E, support and maintain supplier auditing program
Requirements: this role would suit an individual who is a Quality Manager/ Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career, to be QM for growing brands, with experience in a manufacturing, co-packing environment, or supplier management background, an ability to build valuable relationships both internally and externally, able to influence at all levels of the organisation, experience to work both independently and within a team and leading projects to completion, challenge data and performance levels with management and demonstrate a logical approach to data management, review, and audits
