1. The role involves working within the Mental Health Department of the firm alongside the Head of Mental Health representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act.2. Responsibilities include liaising with clients and hospitals to arrange appointments/visits, completing the relevant forms and paperwork to progress the case, assisting in the management of the diary to arrange Tribunals and other hearings.3. The role requires the candidate to have good IT skills with an ability to work within the firm’s existing case management system along with familiarity with Microsoft packages.4. Given the nature of the work involved, the candidate will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable having direct contact with clients who are detained under the Mental Health Act.5. Previous experience of work within Mental Health would be advantageous but is not compulsory.
