Responsibility

  • receive, store, and distribute items and supplies
  • maintain an effective supply chain and make sure that items are delivered to clients promptly and undamaged
  • delivery vehicle loading and unloading with a forklift or by hand
  • sorting the inventory for storage in the warehouse after checking for damaged or missing products
  • transporting the proper storage location for the products
  • understanding the risks and necessity of employing loading and lifting equipment for big items like washing machines
  • ensuring that the stock is accurately recorded on the warehouse management system in order to facilitate speedy retrieval
  • use a forklift to move and reorganize inventory, whilst making sure that goods are correctly and safely labelled and stored
