the successful candidate will either have catering qualifications from college, or some professional kitchen experience, or ideally both
there will also be some overtime to cover colleagues holidays etc
we are looking to recruit a full time Commis Chef on either an Apprenticeship role or full time employed role, depending on experience and catering qualifications. Don't worry, we pay more than the Government apprentice rate

the job is a full time 5 days from 7 position with some split shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holiday working
the candidate will also need to be able to commute to and from Thorpe St Andrew and public transport can be sporadic
all candidates must be able to work under the guidance of their Line Mangers to ensure the upkeep of food presentation standards as well as the standards of cleanliness and hygiene we expect from our team
you will therefore be working under the leadership and guidance or either our Head Chef or Sous Chef at all times initially as full training in our methods and recipes will be given as we try and create everything on our menu using fresh ingredients, sourced usually from local independent Butchers, Fishmongers, Greengrocers etc
