Working hours

Responsibility

  • engage with key stakeholders to identify operations and maintenance objectives and key products to be delivered
  • develop operations and maintenance specifications, agree maintenance plans including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines
  • utilise operations and maintenance plans and schedules to monitor all activities
  • manage relationships amongst stakeholders by building confidence and trust with clear professional communications
  • directly manage subcontractors, their delivery programme and the quality of delivery of works
  • record information accurately and consistently using appropriate systems and provide and communicate timely information to relevant parties
  • testing, maintaining and modifying existing controls systems
  • proposing and developing new control systems

Education

  • the role will directly manage mechanical, electrical and controls packages
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential
  • SVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical and/or electrical installation, essential
  • HNC Electrical Engineering, preferable
  • electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations is essential
  • an outstanding technical understanding of district heating communal heating networks and their operational parameters is essential
  • knowledge and experience of British Standards BS 7671:2018 Requirements for

Requirements

  • candidates with previous experience of delivering district heating projects would be advantageous
  • electrical Engineering: 5 years
  • candidates should have a track record of successful delivery of district heating network operations, maintenance and controls as well as experience of successful relationship development
