Responsibility

  • covers are a privately owned Timber and Builders Merchants, operating from sixteen sites in the South of England
  • our success has been built on courteous and personal service, and we’re deeply committed to building partnerships with our clients
  • to maintain, develop and improve the IT infrastructure within Covers and its related company’s
  • we are recruiting for a 2nd Line IT Technician to start as soon as possible at our Head office site
  • to provide a point of escalation for 1st-line IT staff and to cover 1st Line Calls where necessary
  • configure and install new equipment such as PC’s, mobile phones, IPAD’s,thin clients, network switches, VOIP phones and printers
  • creation of Active Directory, Exchange Email and internal systems user accounts for new starters
  • you will have good experience and knowledge of Cloud based systems, SaaS, Microsoft Windows, O365 and possess excellent networking/hardware troubleshooting skills

Requirements

  • sound understanding of Server/Client Setups
