Responsibility
- abbeyfield The Dales is a not-for-profit charity housing and caring for the over 55's who either live in their own apartments independently or who live in our residential settings
- working as part of a small team to ensure the safety & functional running of all sites
- develop maintenance schedules and ensure they are implemented
- carrying out of inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- to prepare and control a 5-year planned works programme
- input and hold responsibility for the maintenance budget
- manage, coach, supervise & develop the Maintenance team to carry out their roles in a safe and effective manner
- support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations and all Company policies and procedures
Requirements
- completed a fully indentured apprenticeship
- at least 10 years experience in a Maintenance role
- excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- competent in problem solving, planning and decision making
- have a caring and compassionate nature
- clean driving license and use of own vehicle
- previous experience in a similar role
- maintenance: 10 years
