Responsibility

  • develop and present category plans with the major fmcg brand owners who operate in niche retail sectors
  • using existing data, identify and manage client specific category initiatives and projects to increase their sales and profitability
  • perform range and assortment management tasks for key clients
  • create insight-based store and category merchandising plans that drive growth
  • lead and deliver merchandising reviews and point of purchase recommendations
  • be able to measure and track category performance

Requirements

  • previous Category Management and category analytical experience working within a retailer or brand role
  • ability to manage team members
  • expert user of sales, research and retail execution data
  • use of Nielsen or iRi databases,and use of data reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • results driven and self-motivated
  • excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • strong relationship builder
