Requirements
- bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- strong knowledge of ECO4 regulations, energy efficiency measures, and installation standards
- NVQ level 3 for External wall Insulations
- gas safe certification
- NVQ level 3 for H&S course for Managers
- strong communication and reporting abilities
- proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools
- 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection roles, preferably in energy efficiency or construction projects
Responsibility
- inspect and assess installations, including Solar PV systems, boilers, central heating, insulation, and air source heat pumps
- ensure compliance with ECO4 regulations, health and safety standards, and quality benchmarks
- conduct on-site and remote inspections, documenting findings and reporting deviations
- collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and recommend improvements
- verify materials and workmanship meet project specifications and industry standards
- maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions
- provide feedback and guidance to contractors and teams to ensure quality consistency
- stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and quality assurance methodologies
