Responsibility

  • transport quarried goods
  • inspect vehicles for safety issues on daily walkaround checks
  • plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • collect waste from production areas and dispose of it in accordance with regulations
  • report defects, accidents or violations
  • act as a human buffer between customers and trucks

Requirements

  • proven work experience as a truck driver
  • extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • no recent moving or driving violations
  • adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations
  • valid truck driving license
  • driving: 1 year
  • class 2 or above Licence + CPC + Digicard
