- actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in our care
- promote the delivery of a safe, structured and nurturing environment and immediately report any unsafe practices, conditions or concerns
- ensure the delivery of all key worker responsibilities
- ensure ongoing assessment of our childrens’ individual and collective needs in day to day practice and be able to evidence achievements
- encourage our children to be actively involved in the environment and day to day activities
- relate to and engage our children who display challenging behaviour and use a variety of behaviour management strategies
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
