- linen

- at least 3 years’ experience of senior management within production / manufacturing
- experience of managing multiple teams/cross site working in a production environment
- ability to coach and mentor others, identifying development plans and creating robust succession plans
- good working knowledge of Health and Safety practices in a manufacturing environment
- excellent communication skills
Responsibility
- taking full responsibility for the site during absence of Shift Manager and Senior Management
- making sure the operational targets are achieved by ensuring that all areas of production are adequately staffed, resourced and utilised
- being active in managing staff probations, including probation reviews
- training staff, including on the job training, health and safety training
- to ensure the smooth running of the production department by assisting the Production Manager and Shift Manager with day to day operational issues
- to follow clear and concise communication channels across all operational departments and all other business functions
- to work with the packing/loading department to ensure sufficient supply of linen
- to be responsible for managing all production staff within your remit, including welfare issues
