Requirements

  • proven track record as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on Residential and Commercial projects
  • A thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods, especially related to Residential and Commercial projects
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present estimates and proposals effectively to clients and project teams
  • strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex projects and provide cost-effective solutions
  • relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field are desirable but not mandatory
  • A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • the role is office-based in Central London and candidates must be willing to work in this location 4 days per week

Responsibility

  • CRG have partnered with a highly reputable main contractor based in Central London, specialising in delivering exceptional Residential and Commercial projects within the M25 area
  • with a strong track record of successful and high-profile developments, they pride themselves on their commitment to quality, innovation and client satisfaction
  • working with them, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Estimator to join their team and contribute to the continued growth and success of their future projects
  • bid Analysis: Analyse and evaluate bids from suppliers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive and cost-effective pricing for project components
  • tender Submissions: Prepare and submit tender documents, proposals, and bids, adhering to deadlines and client specifications
  • risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects, providing mitigation strategies to minimize cost overruns and delays
  • cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Residential and Commercial projects, including material costs, labour expenses, subcontractor bids, and other relevant factors
  • vendor Relations: Foster positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure reliable and competitive pricing for projects
