Responsibility
- provide leadership, management and support to the Team
- take ownership of achieving the highest level of compliance with regards to regulations, laws, quality standards and policies
- accountable for the Health and Safety of staff and clients
- ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and approved practice, promoting business aims and values
- continually review and improve processes to ensure a first-class, person- centred service is being delivered to all clients
- involvement in the recruitment of high quality staff and a responsibility of maintaining a high retention ratio
- provide and monitor staff training
- effectively schedule care for clients
Requirements
- enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service
- must have S/NVQ L5 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification
- full drivers license
- excellent communication skills
- experience of care services, risk assessment and person-centered care and support
- management experience of service provision in the care industry
- good administrative skills and computer literacy
- experience of managing and developing an effective staff team including recruitment, training, supporting and supervising staff
