Responsibility

  • weld assembly of manufactured parts
  • fabricating parts as required
  • inspection of own work
  • keep a clean and tidy work area
  • willingness to take on other duties as required

Requirements

  • must be competent in tig welding stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel. Material thicknesses vary, but generally 0.9 to 3mm
  • must be competent in finishing own work using a linisher
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • willingness to learn new skills
  • an eye for detail and quality
  • able to mirror finish own work with a handheld polishing mop
  • own tools
