- to work to the National Minimum Standards for Care Homes
- to assist in maintaining the standards required by CQC To work within the laws of Health and Safety
- to provide supervision and training to junior staff
- to assist the home manager in the management of the staff team and organisation of the home
- to work collaboratively and co-operatively to meet the needs of individuals and their families
- undertake duties which will involve direct nursing/non-nursing care
- provide 24 hour on-call to the home on a rota basis
- be a point of contact for families and professionals
