Responsibility
- play a key role in the successful completion of a portfolio of Technology Projects
- develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
- identify appropriate project team members from IT and business departments to complete IT Projects
- assure that deviations from project schedule are addressed and communicated
- develop timely project status reports
- maintain the project work site for documentation and team communications
- monitor project risk factors, escalates project issues, and provides Quality Assurance for all project deliverables
- support the wider project team
Requirements
- complex IT project management experience
- significant experience in project lifecycle management including business analysis, requirement definition, functional specification, change control, risk management and implementation
- technical aptitude and an ability to provide a communication "bridge" between the business and Technologists
- excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, and can drive projects to successful completion
- able to communicate across many levels in a wide variety of Information Technology and business disciplines
- ideally have a Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2, PMI or APM
- project Management: 1 year
- ability to communicate project and programme status, deliveries, risks and issues, scope changes, milestone achievement, misses and implications to Stakeholders and senior management ensuring "no surprises" running and delivery of all projects
