Responsibility
independently provide face to face and online consultations to clients for a range of health conditions
conducting patient assessments, examinations, and diagnosis, through our health screens and follow up appointments
prescribing medication and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols, with the support of our medical director where needed
provide proactive and assimilated medicines information and education to clients
assisting with and performing minor surgical procedures as appropriate
communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
providing emergency medical care where needed
monitor patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
Requirements
qualified as a doctor
demonstrate knowledge, awareness and appreciation for Performance and Longevity
proactive problem-solving and innovation with the aim of contributing towards service and clinical improvement
pays great attention to detail and produces high quality consults and a positive patient experience
have achieved a CCT in General Practice and be on the GMC GP Specialist Register. Ideally have at least one year of post-CCT experience
be comfortable working with, supporting, and where appropriate, supervising junior members of the medical team and MDT
team player and able to work collaboratively with members of the clinical team and the business at large, to provide holistic, high-quality care to our clients
candidates will always have access to support from our Medical Director and the rest of our MDT, but should be comfortable working as an independent practitioner, within your scope of practice, without direct supervision
Education
participating in educational activities, including lectures and workshops
keeping up-to-date with medical literature and evidence-based practices
pursuing further training and education to advance clinical skills and knowledge
participating in continuing medical education activities to maintain licensure and certification
proactively keep up to date with new evidence and guidance related to our clinical categories
participate in an annual appraisal process
on the job training will be provided where needed, and we expect you to take a proactive approach to identifying your learning needs
