- maintain current business relationships with customers, securing existing revenue on long-term commitments and or selling net new accounts
- the Account Director will support accounts in need of and in support of wireless infrastructure
- the Account Director will support both existing as well as prospective accounts in need of Zayo fiber infrastructure services
- apply knowledge of customers, industry, and services to achieve revenue objectives
- present proposals and manage customers through a strategic sales process
- work with the current Sales team to develop account strategy, solution design, and relationship management on targeted accounts
- work with the current Global Sales team to develop account strategy, solution design, and relationship management on targeted major accounts
- the position is responsible to achieve sales and revenue growth targets through consistent account management and prospecting activities

Requirements
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College; or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of relevant experience
- BSc, BA or equivalent graduate degree
- proven ability to build relationships

- high tolerance for ambiguity and can work successfully in a matrix management model
- technical Aptitude: Familiarity with data centre colocation, network connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and related technologies, preferably within the hyperscale space
- strong understanding of account management & the strategic selling process
- sales Acumen: Demonstrated experience in consultative selling, solution-oriented approach, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets
