• as a Yorwaste Operative, your day-to-day duties will vary, and may include the following
• hours: Permanent, full-time, 5 days’ over 7, including weekend working
• location: Sowerby and Tholthorpe Household Waste and Recycling Centre’s
• helping the public use the site in a safe manner, adhering to all Health and Safety guidance

• location: Site and office-based, working across North Yorkshire
• as the Senior HSE Advisor, you will be ensuring that health and safety remains the number one priority for all individuals working within the Yorwaste business, fostering a positive HSE culture
• reporting directly to the Head of Risk Management as a key member of the Risk Management team, you will be instrumental in driving significant improvements in the HSE culture, as well as contributing significantly to the development and effective implementation of the HSE Improvement Strategy
• your hands-on experience in delivering health and safety improvements, ideally in a similar working environment with multiple site operations, will be crucial to your success
• additionally, you will play a key role in closely monitoring and reporting on the HSE performance across the business
• given the nature of the role, significant travel throughout North Yorkshire is required, making your proactive and self-starting attitude essential for independent work
