- leading a team of Care Workers, you will work on shift with them to be hands-on working with the young people in our care from the every-day tasks such as personal care, going to school and having fun

- working on a rotating shift pattern, you will work 40 hours per week including a 30 mins paid break
- based on trauma informed therapy, you will be trained in therapeutic techniques allowing you to care and support our children better than ever before
- we will fully train you in our therapeutic care model so you are able to follow these principles in all work you do with the children and young people
- using the theories you have been taught, you will be able to support that child as they regulate and work with them to keep them safe from harm using a wide range of techniques and practices
- but we are not your typical Childrens Care Home; we follow a trauma-informed therapeutic care model. By following this model, you are giving the children the very best opportunity to thrive in life and have positive outcomes
- working on a rotating shift pattern, you will work on average 40 hours per week including a 30 mins paid break
- you can expect to work 7 shifts in a 3 weeks rolling rota period
- working on a rotating shift pattern, you will work from 23 hours per week* including a 30 mins paid break
- whether the child is in crisis and at risk of harm or having a reflective conversation on the sofa, you will have all the tools you require to be able to listen without judgement, show empathy and offer support and practical ways to regulate behaviour and if needed, be confident in techniques to reduce harm to them, your colleagues and the home
- this might mean sitting with a child through that crisis for hours, but your dedication to your role and to that child means you do this without a second thought
- we have devised a 5 day therapeutic care training model delivered out of the Home followed by shadow shifts in the home while you learn and practice all that you learnt at training
- working with our Consultant Psychologist and her team, you will be supported through an intensive training programme, continuing in the home, where you will learn to deliver therapy to the children in your care through keyworking sessions, daily life and through any time they are in crisis
- working on a rotating shift pattern, you will work 23 hours per week including a 30 mins paid break
- you can expect to work 7 shifts over 3 weeks on our rota pattern
- on average you will work 7 shifts in a 3 week rota pattern
- we dont work on consequences or punishments, instead we work on positive reinforcement, restorative justice and working closely with the children so they feel safe and supported even at times of crisis
- it is also critical that you are there to support your Team through this time; not only providing practical support and being 100% hands on but also being there for emotional support and reflection

- remaining awake through-out your shift, you continue the therapeutic style of care, ready to support the young person, especially if they are in crisis
- on average you will work 7 shifts across a 3 week rolling rota
- you will share our ideas and theories that by putting the child in control, they can thrive
- the leadership you will receive from the Home Manager is also outstanding with all our homes receiving a minimum of Good Ofsted rating with Outstanding in Leaderships in many of our homes
- de-briefs after incidents and regular supervisions are essential for learning but also to provide effective support for your team at their most vulnerable
