proactively chase and manage your own allocated portfolio of customers that have not provided payment within agreed terms
working to monthly targets and debtor days
identify and alert the Credit Manager of any potential risks that may have a financial impact on the business
develop a strong relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure that any invoice queries are resolved prior to the invoice due date
obtaining customer remittances to ensure correct cash allocation
generate relevant paperwork for any debts going legal
working to targets and debtor days
monitor and maintain credit risk reports
Requirements
we’re looking to offer a salary between £23k - £25k dependant on skills and experience plus a whole host of great benefits
payroll officer
Requirements
3 -5 years of working in a payroll environment, with experience of both ‘end to end’ and 3rd party service provision
fully CIPP qualified or equivalent
up to date knowledge of HMRC guidance
highly proficient in payroll rules and regulations
the ability to ensure compliance is always met
awareness of project management and ability to manage and develop long term work projects
outstanding customer service skills
Responsibility
working with payroll manager and business to ensure continuous development of payroll contingency plan, identifying and testing for possible areas of system failure

strong experience of HR policy and practice, particularly around employee relations

experience gained in a large multi –site environment, preferably with exposure to the end client

demonstrable change management and cultural development experience in a similar HR advisory and/or management role
influencing skills and strong Stakeholder Management
be a self-starter, able to work on own initiative and be a team player
CIPD qualified

Requirements
having previous workshop experience is necessary for this role
ideally, you will come from a white goods environment, however other industries such as vending machines or similar will be considered
you must be a technical problem solver, able to fix both mechanical and electrical issues
