Responsibility

- oversee the maintenance and daily running of the nursery

- maximise profit and minimize losses
- work closely with the nursery manager to build horticulture knowledge within the team
- proactively developing new business opportunities to maximise sales and increase profits
- manage the nursery budgets
- being at the forefront for purchasing decisions with the nursery, including liaising with buyers to negotiate stock
- you will lead and inspire you team and manage all operational aspects of the site, including maintenance and development, people management, administration and sales, security and health and safety, stock management and customer service
- responsible for stock control, management and storage across the departments and monitoring wastage
- as a trade manager, you will organise and control the flow of goods and supervise the operations within the nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make an impact on the company's success
- develop good relations and implement strategic corporate initiatives to ensure that clients and colleagues have a consistent experience and effective resolutions
- input into the marketing of the products and services
- implement and manage the wholesale side of the business with the production manager
- any other reasonable duties that are deemed necessary to fulfil the needs of the business
Requirements
- full driving license
- excellent communication skills
- exceptional attention to detail
