Earnings on positions in WORKAID
WORKAID is looking for employees for positions:
- emptying all bins and ensuring all paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers and toilet role holders are stocked
- emptying all bins and ensuring bathrooms and other work areas are stocked with soap and paper supplies etc
- ensure all the site walkways and fire extinguishers are clear of obstructions
- weekly vehicle safety checks including ensuring they are clean inside and out
- van cleaning and maintenance
- ensure vehicles are roadworthy, serviced and MOT’ed
- assisting with fire alarm testing
- carry out small DIY jobs on site as necessary
- must be a practical person, experience gained through their day to day work or through keen DIY interests
- able to use their practical knowledge and skills to identify and carry out simple repairs and maintenance tasks to the site
- essential
- maintain an awareness of sales trends amongst competitors
- support the pricing and stocking of shop items
- carry out daily cashing up as and when required
- dealing with customer queries and complaints
- price and stock shop stock
- work on the till serving customers
- retail experience, preferably in a charity shop setting
- good maths skills
- ability to handle money, cash up and keep records
- good interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- resolve problems and the ability to think on your feet
- energy, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humour
