Responsibility

  • the job roles includes
  • operating woodworking machinery. Including Spindle Moulders, Ripsaws and Tenoners etc
  • able to read and understand customer orders and technical drawings
  • have the ability to spot problems, trouble shoot and solve effectively
  • manage inward goods, checking quantities, dispatching goods - including loading and unloading deliveries
  • we are looking for a Bench Joiner to supervise a team of four in our workshop based near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. We manufacture a range of high quality solid timber buildings which includes bespoke work and special commissions
  • regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the Export Manager
  • ensure the Workshop team has a clear understanding of department objectives and timelines
