- 3 - 4 years post qualifying experience in a Day Care Setting
- experience in a Managers Position
- experience of working with children aged 0 - 5 years
- an in depth understanding of Equal Opportunities
- education / Training Qualifications
- ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of people
- good organisational skills
- NVQ Level 4 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification. Desirable EYP / Degree in Childhood studies
Responsibility
- ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times
- ensure that all agreed quality and safety standards are maintained in the nursery at all times
- promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors
- implement administrative procedures involved with registration, place allocation and other related matters
- undertake other duties as may be requested from time to time by the Owner
- plan and deliver effective daily management of the nursery, in accordance with company policy, keep all records that fulfil requirements of all relevant legislation, including Local Authority and Ofsted regulations
