Responsibility

  • an exciting opportunity has arisen within Wipak UK
  • we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work within the Maintenance Department based at Welshpool
  • working a rotating shift pattern consisting of a 36-hour work week, 12 hour days and nights, with some weekend work
  • overtime is available after a training period and is paid at double time

  • in addition to the main role, any employee is expected to be flexible with regards to other tasks that may be delegated from time to time. It is expected that any employee will conform to any reasonable management requests

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a maintenance engineering role
  • be trained to IEE wiring regulations standards
  • computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office
  • sound verbal and numerical skills are required for this position
  • applicants must have a good attendance and time keeping record
  • good communication skills are essential
  • knowledge of 5s, Kaizen and Kanban systems would be an advantage
  • good PC skills
