  • we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work within the Maintenance Department based at Welshpool
  • working a rotating shift pattern consisting of a 36-hour work week, 12 hour days and nights, with some weekend work
  • overtime is available after a training period and is paid at double time

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a maintenance engineering role
  • be trained to IEE wiring regulations standards
  • computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office
  • sound verbal and numerical skills are required for this position
  • applicants must have a good attendance and time keeping record
  • good communication skills are essential
  • knowledge of 5s, Kaizen and Kanban systems would be an advantage
  • good PC skills

  • liaise with third party logistics partner and external hauliers
  • picking customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • carry out stock investigations
  • maintain a high level of communication with various internal departments

  • preferably experience within a warehouse environment supplying a 24 hour production department
  • must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and external partners

  • responsible for basic TPM activities
