- develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
- engage with Aviation Stakeholders to develop methods of strategic separation to minimize operational disruption to other airspace users
- produce regulatory applications and documentation to support operations
- with a robust and cost-effective platform and reduced operating costs compared to a manned aircraft, Windracers aim to provide a very competitive and reliable logistics solution for remote communities
- keep track and monitor the processing of regulatory applications
- we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Specialist to join our team in the exciting field of cargo drone operations
- advise the engineering team on standard requirements from the aviation authorities and collaborate to integrate new technology in commercial operations
Requirements
- strong interest in aviation technologies
- experience in obtaining permits, licences, and certifications for aviation operations, preferably in the drone sector
- familiarity with drone technology, operations, and the current regulatory landscape
- confident in risks assessment and safety management, and the ability to apply them to drone operations
- strong analytical and innovative thinking, be able to formulate innovative solutions
- effective written and verbal communication abilities
- ability to present complex concepts to a varied audience
- team player with a professional attitude
