Working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, 40 hours per week. This role involves: Creating and serving imaginative food which is designed to exceed expectations. Using fresh ingredients and cooking ‘little and often’ during service. Serving food, wherever possible plated, served in its own one portion dish/bowl, with the use of simple garnishes that are effective and relevant. Being imaginative and innovative, ideas and innovations adapted to suit customer needs. Managing the detail of front of house presentation. Implementation of promotions and special days to enhance offering. Adopting good food cost management techniques. Influencing the catering team to instil a ’nothing is too much trouble’ approach. Delivering imaginative and innovative menus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all food production Cater to the needs of all customers Be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to assist and manage a team Deliver consistent food standards following the Wilson Vale brand standards.
