- qualified with formal Engineering accreditation , Academic qualifications , or the equivalent
- maintaining PLC controlled machinery
Responsibility
- maintain all plant assets and conduct a regular PPM service
- oversee and participate in all large installations and machine removals/re-positioning where required
- ensure all maintenance workloads are covered, maintained & kept to a minimum at all times
- communicate regularly with all maintenance and operational staff to ensure problems are reported & resolved safely and efficiently
- provide engineering training to new starters and apprentices in the department
- ensure all daily, weekly & monthly paperwork is completed correctly
- act responsibly for compliance with our Company Health & Safety Policy and Procedures including the use of PPE
- complete machine malfunction correction work and ensure plant & equipment is available to meet the operational demands placed upon it in a safe and efficient manner
