WIGGLE WAGGLE is looking for employees for positions:
- perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences
- ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during the grooming process
- provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options
- maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, equipment, and tools to ensure a hygienic environment
- handle animals safely and comfortably, including those that may be anxious or difficult to manage
- assist in animal care tasks as needed, including feeding, walking, and monitoring health conditions
- lift and carry animals as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for heavy lifting
- previous experience in pet grooming or veterinary care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- qualification in dog grooming
- strong knowledge of animal behaviour and care practices is advantageous
- strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets
- ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets
- ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large breeds or multiple animals
- knowledge of veterinary practices is advantageous
