day to day responsibilities would primarily be IT and telephony based
outbound calls to patients, completing spreadsheets, uploading documents, booking appointments, booking clinical sessions, checking, and allocating rotas
work is covered as a team but can sometimes be asked to work individually on a specific piece of work

the successful applicant will work the pattern Sunday 8am - 4pm then Mon to Wed 12pm to 8pm
this role is working in a busy Service office ensuring the clinical and support teams are in the right place at the right time, this roles will be advertised as Temp to Perm
we have a friendly but fast paced Service Department currently staffed with 16, plus management team

as our services grow we now need to add to our Service team
this role involves ensuring the smooth operation and staffing of the Extended Hours service offered throughout Wigan and Leigh
the successful candidate needs to be both proactive and reactive as this is an ever changing role
it involves thinking on your feet, remaining calm and being positive
the Service coordinator is responsible to the Service Manager and duties include ensuring that rotas for staff working in the Alliances Hub locations are fully completed and updated
previous experience of working within a GP Surgery is an advantage but training will be provided for the successful candidates
hub staff not being available at short notice presents varying difficulties the coordinator would need to resolve in what is sometimes a short period of time
the successful applicant must have good attention to detail and ability to operate different IT systems
