Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • developing technical solutions focussed on the routing and switching technologies in line with technical roadmaps and new customer requirements
  • maintaining and developing product configuration and supporting documentation for use within network design, installation, and operational support teams
  • completing deep dive lab configuration and stress testing to ensure solutions are scalable and stable ready for customer deployment
  • maintaining and improving existing network solutions in line with vendor hardware and software releases or enhancements
  • escalating product related problems to equipment manufacturers and coordinate problem resolution in compliance with Service Level Agreements
  • owning and handling of complex technical support issues via 3rd level incident management escalations
  • developing infrastructure and knowledge base documentation to improve team knowledge and troubleshooting processes
  • you will deliver all set targets to contribute to a successful business function in line with the strategic objectives

Requirements

  • proven experience as a network engineer in the ISP/Telecoms industry
  • solid understanding of common internet and networking protocols
  • strong understanding of Routing and Switching protocols
  • excellent understanding of SNMP protocol
  • good knowledge of security protocols and firewalls
  • working experience on incident management processes and prioritization
  • advanced experience with monitoring systems plus a good understanding of monitoring best practices
  • good understanding of RADIUS protocol
