Responsibility

  • whitkirk Waste Solutions are currently recruiting for an Class 1 Driver
  • this is a customer facing position where you will be expected to liaise closely with customers collecting bulk waste material, and with suppliers when delivering to their sites for recycling or disposal

Requirements

  • driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year

tanker driver

Responsibility

  • operate Class 1 vacuum tankers to collect and transport liquid waste
  • complete daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • communicate with dispatch and clients to coordinate collections and deliveries
  • maintain accurate records of jobs completed, timesheets, and relevant documentation
  • carry out duties professionally, safely, and efficiently, representing the company in a positive manner at all times

Requirements

  • valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • 4on 4off tramper
  • strong understanding of driver hours, working time directive, and legal compliance
  • good communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • flexible approach to working hours, including potential night or weekend work if required
  • valid Class 1 HGV license
  • previous experience with waste tankers or within the waste management industry is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
