assist with the training and induction of others that join the practice
ensure the waiting areas are clean and tidy and adhere to our health and safety responsibilities
booking appointments, and updating our internal systems with relevant information, ensuring reminders for appointments are sent in line with internal protocols
patient hosting, ensuring everyone who attends the practice has all the information they require and dealing with any access issues in a sensitive and dignified manner
work closely with the dentist and dental nurses you are allocated to as a close-knit team to provide administrative support and to ensure the referral procedures and paperwork trails are complete and up to date
to assist with the monitoring of patient debt and assist with appropriate debt recovery in a sensitive and appropriate manner
maintain the patient record and appointment system following practice protocol and procedures, reminding patients about their appointments, following the practice re-call protocol and procedure
working as a team member to ensure that the practice reception runs smoothly, assisting colleagues as and when required, and feeding back constructive comments from our patients to the practice manager as and when appropriate
