Working hours

Responsibility
- follow instructions from the Team Leader
- perform mechanical fitting, wiring, crimping, pneumatic assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing tasks
- interpret drawings and wiring diagrams, recognize components, and assemble or repair electrical equipment accordingly
- uphold high standards of quality and efficiency
- westwood Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an Electro Mechanical Fitter for our world-renowned client where you will be homebased with an immediate start available
- exhibit versatility in skills to troubleshoot, test, wire, and perform mechanical fitting
- maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health and safety regulations
- proficiently complete technical documentation as work progresses
Education
- holds a Level 3 Qualification in Engineering or Electro/Mechanical discipline
- requires a minimum of five years of experience in electro-mechanical fitting
- demonstrates the capability to adhere to stringent quality standards within ISO9001 and RISAS
- possesses knowledge of safety systems, including familiarity with Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments, which would be advantageous
- displays a willingness and aptitude for acquiring new skills
- adapts flexibly to meet customer demands
- while not essential, having some electrical knowledge would be beneficial
