Responsibility
- western Union powers your pursuit
- the team works with a wide range of banking and non-banking partners to power their money movement business
- this team is responsible for enhancing WU's core capabilities to enable easy integration and building custom experiences for our shared customers
- monitor partner trends and Voice of Customer to inform growth strategies and hypothesis. Assess opportunities by identifying ROI
- manage partnership roadmap. Essentially a list of partner integrations, customizations, tests, and tasks needed to scale WU partner platform
- effectively communicate the product strategy and vision to inspire the team and keep them aligned toward a common goal
- you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love
- provide compelling arguments on behalf of the partner or feature areas, effectively addressing executive skepticism or objections
Requirements
- previous technical or engineering background would be welcomed
- at least 5 years of product experience in Web/Mobile technologies, and Web/Mobile user experience
- attention to detail and a penchant for creating great customer experiences
- previous strong experience of lean and agile working methodologies. PO certification preferred
- the ability to break down requirements into epics and stories, grooming and elaboration of stories
- previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in Financial Services, preferably in b2b, b2c or b2b2c payment fintech , although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered
- ability to negotiate with engineering, UI, UX, Content on the story scope and complexity
- strong business writing, numerical analysis, and verbal communication skills
