Responsibility
- operating manual and automatic saws for cutting mainly stainless steel
- accurately reading from technical drawings
- cutting stainless steel material to required lengths
- completing job sheets
- using appropriate measuring equipment
- organising the metal stores area
- to carry out a policy of quality engineering when working in the factory / on site
- to maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping
Requirements
- this role will involve accurately measuring and cutting stainless steel materials to correct sizes following the instruction of technical drawings
- you will also be responsible for the upkeep of the metal stores area ensuring it remains an organised and clean workspace
